The OceanDSL project develops and evaluates domain-specific languages (DSLs) for ocean modelling. Our aim is to provide specific languages for the different use cases and roles reflecting on a variety of disciplinary backgrounds to foster scientific collaboration and support interdisciplinary work. Furthermore, we want to support the reuse of models, the repeatability of model results, and reduce the cost of development freeing scientists from tedious tasks.
